How to handle IE 9 and 10 automatic X-Frame-Options
We have a web page that we need to show in frame on several other pages in our site.
We set X-Frame-Options to "deny" on the main page and the iframed page in the future will not have the X-Frame-Options set to "SAMEORIGIN".
This works fine in most browsers, however the most popular browsers for smartphones (Windows Phone 8 and iPhone) does not have any choice but to render the iframe page as "SAMEORIGIN". In these browsers, we cannot provide any choice to them on our part to render the page.
When the user clicks the back button in our mobile browsers, our page does not automatically refresh and show the original page, since it is being rendered as same origin.
I have read that "SAMEORIGIN" is the only option in IE 9 and IE 10 for X-Frame-Options.
So, my question is: what are our options for forcing the browsers to accept our X-Frame-Options even though it is not explicitly set?

The only way that you can get around this is to make the new page the top page, and have the old page as a background page. Then, when the user moves back to the page they've been browsing, the browser will think it's coming from the old page rather than the new. This way, the new page is the one that responds to 'back' and not the old page.
